I think that Ben and Dion’s chain is the smallest because they cut the strips of paper into thicker strips of paper to make the chain shorter. Viliami and Howard’s chain is the longest because they cut the strips of paper thinner to make their chain longer.

Basic Facts Test

WALT: Writing a reflection on my Basic Facts results. 1445547419357.2.jpg1445547408005.1.jpg

In my last Basic facts I scored 577. I have not improved. These are the reasons why. First reason is that I find the symbol part difficult. The second reason is that Write the number more and less is difficult as well. My next learning steps would want to improve my e-asttle tests and also pat. I would want to achieve in e-asttle and pat will be my math knowledge to solve problems.

KS2 Maths Invaders

Screenshot 2015-04-22 at 9.58.42 AM.png
This is the year 1 subtraction level and standard. I found this game really easy because you add 2 digit numbers. The first time I’ve played it, I found it really good for one of our strategies. Next time I would like to learn more.

The year 2 subtraction and standard level is so easy because you have to add 2 digit numbers. Two digit numbers for example 10-5=5 and it is just the same as adding 5+5=10

Area and Perimeter

What I was learning?

I remember perimeter is lengths of the sides of an object. I remember area is like measuring square units. I have difficulties to solve these kind of problems. This would help me with knowledge and how I solved it.

Sumdog

To play this game, I have to flick the answer to the goal post to get a score. For example, if the sum was 1/10 of 10 than I have to flick the answer to the goal post to get a score. It wasn't hard for me because it's just like time tables. I came second in this game. Next time I'm going to try to come first.
